only 1 chair for 2 elderly people very over priced because of F1 that we weren't there for when we booked it was $---- when we looked at bank it was $---- that was$----per night when we went to bank it was $---- per night WHY ??

Very friendly staff for sure, especially the front office!

Our room is clean ok but I sure can see it hasn't been dusted or vacuumed for a while, and our bathroom stinks like peedthe moment you enter, like someone peed on the floor! For the price you paid of course you expect a nice clean room, not stinky.

Our room was located on the 7th floor, unfortunately it was next to the water pump, the machine made noise all the time, really disturbing our sleep.

Breakfast area is too crowded and poorly managed.Rooms are small (but i think this is expected in singapore) and floor seems untidy.

Clean, helpful reception staff

The cleaning time in the morning were really noisy. They shouted at each other from room to room. It was unbearable

Very loud as the rooms are not isolated. You hear the smallest sounds and the windows are like decorative objects

Relatively clean room, which had air particle filter and drinking water system, which is not something you find in hotels. Breakfast has rotating main courses from local cuisines, which makes it more diverse. It's a quick walk to two separate metro lines to get you around the city. I liked the location - it has a bit of a local vibe, not something you'd find staying in downtown.

The bed is quite short. My room had an inner garden view and almost no direct daylight was passing through

We did not have breakfast as it was too expensive for the amount we wanted to eat.The hotel well insulated from outside noise.The room was smaller than I expected but clean.They were quick to unzip the bed and make it two twins.Also the staff was helpful with travel information.

The A/C quit working and they did not proactively speak to us about it. They did move us when we insisted, the next afternoon.The bellman and front staff were very helpful with travel information.It is close to two mrt stations, one for the downtown line and the NE line.There are very interesting places to eat in the same block.

The rooms we booked were as expected and per the pictures. An added bonus was the daily top up of minibar, which was complementary. Location was good, about a 5min walk to Bendemeer MRT (which was perfect to get to Marina Bay and Sentosa Island). Down the same street and surrounding streets, were plenty of local restaurants at an affordable price. A 711 store was also on the same street about 50m or so. And the nearest ATM was about a 4min walk (very close by - use google maps to find it). The pool on the top was good for a quick dip and ample space to sit if you weren't swimming - I ended up using the Gym which was small, but it provided a quick workout. Breakfast was ok, but very busy and camped at sometimes when it was busy.

SOME of the reception staff were very rude and ignored me standing in front of the reception desk waiting to be served. I was only served when I said "hey, I was here before this guest are you going to serve me". FYI - they were all male staff. Otherwise, the other staff members (and housekeepers and the young gentleman at reception) were lovely.

We got a different room from the me we were promised in Booking.com. Additionally, we found roaches in our room and we asked to get moved to another room

The hotel was good & met my expectations. Breakfast was ok, there’s different choices. The staff were friendly & accommodating.

Recommend hotel to get more seating for the pool, there were lots of people just standing around the pool with one person taking up a two person chair. Hotel is small and cosy, good to check how much space you need and determine if your room size will be suitable-perhaps upgrade to larger!

Family rooms are mis-sold. The family rooms are essential standard double rooms that have an extra bed squeezed in. The hotel advertises a loft style family room on booking.com, yet there is only 1 of these loft style rooms available in the hotel, and was not available until the last night of our stay, although the size of this loft room is not bigger with a staircase in the room.The biggest issue for families is the size of the bathroom...it is so small that it does not even have a sink in it! The sink is outside the bathroom in the bedroom, which is so small already!! The bathroom is so small it can only fit a small shower cubicle and toilet. There is no space to move in this bathroom, and therefore no space to even change The hotel does not even have any hooks to put your clothes in the bathroom, they only have a shelf above the toilet that is where the Mercure toilet rolls & the towels are kept. The bathroom door does not even have a lock, meaning if you are wanting to use the toilet or shower be prepared for anyone entering from your room. Plus the door has a gap from the door to the wall, and so there is poor sound proofing, meaning everyone in your family room can hear when you are on the toilet. The shower has no instructions to understand how to use, which presents a health and safety hazard for children using the shower in the family room, as the hot water easily can scold a child very quickly.Lastly the balcony is a danger hazard for kids, and this hotel should not be allowed to have families staying in such an unsafe environment. Simply, this hotel will suit a couple or single travelers, but there is no space or facilities for a family of four to stay in such a room. Wasted my time trying to escalate to the staff, they mentioned they don't have kids and so did not understand our concerns as parents, and the health & safety of children staying in this family room!If You plan to stay as a family in their "family rooms" Avoid!!

The hotel was clean and the staff were nice.

There was no bottled water. It was a bit far from the metro.
